Holiday Inn

Farmington, MO

Small-balance C-PACE financing for a 99 kW solar PV installation at a flagged hotel in a federally-designated disadvantaged census tract.

The Holiday Inn Farmington is a flagged hotel in Farmington, Missouri. The C-PACE financing enables on-site renewable energy generation through the installation of a 99 kW DC solar PV system, lowering operating costs for the property on a long-term basis.

Highlights

Missouri Clean Energy District funded this C-PACE transaction through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Intermediary Relending Program using the FASTPACE platform. The $200K financing is the second small-balance C-PACE financing in Missouri to be originated on the FASTPACE platform.

By enabling a relatively small transaction size and supporting investment in a federally-designated disadvantaged census tract, the financing helps fill a gap in the market and demonstrates how capital can be deployed to meet policy goals.

Results

The project also benefits from the Investment Tax Credit, utility rebates, and a grant from the USDA Rural Energy for America Program, showcasing how diverse resources can be stacked to support clean energy investment.
